Noongar story dolls made during CAN workshops have been included in a major exhibition which is set to tour Australia over the next three years.
So far more than 2000 people have visited the dolls displayed at Open House: 3rd Tamworth Textile Triennial at the Tamworth Regional Gallery.
The Noongar Doll Makers are the only West Australian artists included in the exhibition.
Their featured works were created during doll making workshops delivered by CAN as part of the Bush Babies and Lullabies arts programs.
Margaret Drayton, Mary Nannup, Marcelle Riley and Sharyn Egan were lucky enough to be at the official opening of the exhibition and their Artist presentation had the audience deeply moved with the poignant mission stories behind their dolls.
