Have you started your Catalyst Community Arts fund application?
This is the last round of Catalyst in its current format. From 2018 onwards, funding support for communities will take on an exciting new shape.
So, if you’ve got a community arts project you’d like to run, or you are professional Community Artist or CACD worker seeking funding for research or professional development within the field of community arts… get your application in.

The closing date is 5pm 2 October for projects starting from 1 January 2018.
Here are the categories:
A & B – Innovate & Create
Up to $15,000 to fund community arts projects where participants work with an artist to develop their creative skills and express their local culture and identity through the creation of artworks in any medium.
C – Develop
Up to $10,000 for professional Community Artists or CCD Workers to expand and develop their practice working with communities.
Catalyst supports projects that promote the values of community empowerment, social inclusion, respect for diversity and self-determination. CAN manages Catalyst on behalf of the State of Western Australia through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
