Australia Council for the Arts
Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body. Australia Council offers a wide range of grants in the following categories: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, ArtStart, Community Partnerships, Dance, Inter-Arts, Literature, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts. Department of Culture and the Arts
The WA Department of Culture and the Arts gives communties in Western Australia the opportunity to create and experience arts and culture. The Department offers Arts Grants in a variety of program areas. For more information, visit DCA's Grants or download the following handbooks:
Art on the Move administers three levels of State and Federal funding for the preparation and touring of exhibitions by professional artists.
Country Arts WA helps regional communities use culture and the arts as part of their community’s development. They are an independent not-for-profit organisation and receive funding to deliver programs on behalf of the State and Federal governments.
Provide Arts Sponsorship Programs designed to provide support for arts activities such as exhibitions, theatre/dance productions, arts festivals, workshops and arts competitions. In return, these events provide opportunities for the promotion of health messages, the creation of healthy environments and increase participation in the arts.
The Seed aims to help Australian artists from any background, creating art and music across any genre, to establish themselves as self-sustained, professional artists.
The Ian Potter Foundation believes that the Arts are a reflection who we are as individuals, communities and as a nation.
Grants are available to Not-For-Profit Organisations and Local Government Authorities. Grants cannot be made to individuals, private or for-profit organisations, government bodies or organisations with a statutory base.
Propel Youth Arts WA is the peak body for youth arts in Western Australia dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to engage in the arts.
Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation
Provides various small and large grants for the arts and humanities.
Receives both Federal and State/Territory funding to provide a wide range of services, to undertake research and to develop policy in the area of family relationships.
The RTRFM Fresh Blast program, supported by Healthway and Community Road Safety Grants Program Funded by the Road Trauma Trust Fund, sponsors CD launches for Western Australian bands or solo performers who are willing to stage their launch in a smoke-free environment and promote the “Alcohol. Think Again” and “Don’t Drink and Drive” messages.
State Government Departments
The Department for Communities provides ongoing funding and one-off grants to more than 200 non-government organisations and community groups throughout Western Australia.
Office of Multicultural Interests
Aims to assist and encourage the involvement of all Western Australians in projects and events that promote the inclusion of Western Australians from diverse linguistic, religious and ethnic backgrounds in the Western Australian community.
Local Governments
The Town of Cambridge has a number of grants and funding programs established to provide financial assistance to support a range of diverse community projects as well as recognising individual achievement.
