The Grants Directory is a compilation of grants available to regional and metropolitan Western Australian communities and local governments. The Directory contains programs provided by the Western Australian Government and selected Commonwealth Government agencies as well as private sector organisations.

Australia Council for the Arts

Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body and it offers a wide range of grants which support a diverse range of artists, artistic practice, organisations and arts activity. Department of Culture and the Arts

The WA Department of Culture and the Arts gives communities in Western Australia the opportunity to create and experience arts and culture and it offers Arts Grants across a variety of program areas. For more information, visit DCA’s Grants.

Art on the Move

Art on the Move administers three levels of State and Federal funding for the preparation and touring of exhibitions by professional artists.

Country Arts WA

Country Arts WA helps regional communities use culture and the arts as part of their community’s development. They are an independent not-for-profit organisation and receive funding to deliver programs on behalf of the State and Federal governments.

Healthway

Healthway provides Arts Sponsorship Programs designed to support arts activities including exhibitions, theatre/dance productions, arts festivals, workshops and arts competitions. In return, these events provide opportunities for the promotion of health messages, the creation of healthy environments and increased participation in the arts.

The JB Seed Fund

The Seed aims to help Australian artists from any background who create art and music across any genre to establish themselves as self-sustained, professional artists.

Lotterywest

Lotterywest grants are available to Not-For-Profit Organisations and Local Government Authorities in Western Australia. Grants cannot be made to individuals, private or for-profit organisations, government bodies or organisations with a statutory base.

Propel Youth Arts WA

Propel Youth Arts WA is the peak body for youth arts in Western Australia and is dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to engage in the arts.


State Government Departments

Department for Communities

The Department for Communities provides ongoing funding and one-off grants to non-government organisations and community groups throughout Western Australia.

Office of Multicultural Interests

The Office of Multicultural Interests aims to assist and encourage the involvement of all Western Australians in projects and events that promote the inclusion of Western Australians from diverse linguistic, religious and ethnic backgrounds in the Western Australian community.

Department of Regional Development

Royalties for Regions invests in regionally-beneficial projects through State Government agencies and the state’s nine Regional Development Commissions.

The Ian Potter Foundation believes that the Arts are a reflection of who we are as individuals, communities and as a nation.

Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation

The Myer Foundation provides various small and large grants for the arts and humanities.

Macquarie Group Australia

Macquarie Group is one of Australia’s oldest and largest corporate foundations, and its Foundation has contributed approximately $A120 million to over 1,000 community organisations over the last 25 years.

Telstra Foundation – Community Programs and Grants

Telstra community grants are all about making community connections. Telstra Kids Fund contributes $1million each year to activities that connect Australian children to their local communities and their community campaigns are created to amplify digital opportunities for social impact.

Impact 100

Impact 100 WA and Impact 100 Fremantle are collaborative giving groups that pools its donations to make a significant difference to people in need.
