Catalyst Community Arts Fund
Catalyst closes 30 September 2016 for projects starting from 1 January 2017.
CAN will host two FREE events to assist applicants seeking funding for their community arts project, or community artists seeking research and development grants.
Catalyst Workshop Thursday, 11 August 10am – 2pm
Artist Forum Thursday, 18 August 5.30pm – 7pm
The Catalyst Community Arts Fund supports community-driven arts and culture activities that express local culture and identity and promote the values of community empowerment, social inclusion, respect for diversity and self-determination.
Projects funded through Catalyst assist the WA community to learn new skills and experience and participate in the arts.
Information on funding categories can be found here.
Download Guidelines and application forms here.
Congratulations to successful applicants from the March 2016 round of Catalyst funding.
CAN has managed the Catalyst Community Arts Fund on behalf of the State Government of Western Australia through the Department of Culture and the Arts since 1997.
In November 2015, the Federal Department of Communication and the Arts launched the Catalyst Arts and Culture Fund, which is a national grants scheme. This is not associated with the WA Catalyst program.
