LiveworX
The LiveworX Training: Creative Pathways Program, a nationally accredited skills development program for young people 16 – 25 years.
The LiveworX Training Program has been developed by CAN WA to inspire and motivate young people and to foster some of the basic life and workplace skills needed to access, and thrive in, employment, further education and community life.
Whilst the LiveworX Training Program has a key focus on the arts and cultural industry, the program will support the development of skills that are relevant to many areas of employment. These skills include, team work, communication, project management, networking and occupational health and safety.
As a result of participating in the LiveworX Training Program, young people will also be able to develop a range of creative skills. A range of arts activities, including multi-media, theatre, and visual arts, are included in the LiveworX Training Program and professional artists and cultural workers are an integral part of the training delivery.
LiveworX Training Program has been designed to be practical and project-based. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a part qualification of the Certificate III in Arts Administration or what is called a ‘statement of attainment’ for four units of competency including:
- (CUECOR02B) Work with Others
- (CUVADM11A) Work within an Arts Organisation Context
- (CUSGEN02A) Work in a Culturally Diverse Environment
- (CUFSAFO1A) Follow Health, Safety and Security Procedures
CAN WA is currently seeking interest and funding to deliver this program in both regional and metropolitan WA.
