Consultancies

An offshoot of the Cultural Planning Program is CAN WA’s Cultural Planning Consultancies. Here CAN WA plays an operational role rather than that of an educator or facilitator. We have a depth of experience in cultural planning that makes us well-equipped to offer research and strategic services to both the public and the private sector.

Our expertise covers:

  • Cultural Mapping – identification and documentation of community cultural resources;
  • Community visioning;
  • Community art and cultural project management;
  • Creative community consultation;
  • Development and evaluation of cultural strategic plans; and
  • Engagement with youth, Indigenous and culturally/linguistically diverse sectors of the community.

Previous CAN WA Consultancy projects have included:

  • Residential and parkland re/development;
  • Town/urban centre revitalisation and design;
  • Tourism development and infrastructure;
  • Crime prevention and safety;
  • Parkland design and infrastructure requirements; and
