Cultural Planning

Cultural Planning is a strategic planning process that is aimed at enabling communities to shape their values and aspirations for future engagement with local government. CAN WA’s Cultural Planning program area includes multiple, inter-related initiatives.

• CAN WA's Local Government Cultural Planning Program run over twelve months;

• Cultural Planning Consultancies adapted to meet the needs of government, private or not-for-profit entities;

• Accredited Cultural Planning Training, designed to equip individuals with the skills to run future cultural planning initiatives; and

• A Cultural Planning Bulletin which publishes key happenings in the area of cultural planning annually.
