Noongar Music from Albany

This weekend, Aunty Averil Dean and Sheyan Tidswell from CAN’s Place Names project in Albany are performing the Kaawar song at the Joondalup Street Festival along with a 200 person strong Community Choir.

Performances are happening Friday 5 April 7pm-7.30pm and Sunday 7 April 7pm-7.30pm at the Joondalup Festival main stage, Joondalup Central Park.

Danjoo – Interwoven exhibition is closing this weekend 

Don’t miss your opportunity to see this stunning collection of works from 18 local Aboriginal artists from or residing in the south west corner of the state. The exhibition is open Thursday 4 April and Friday 5 April 10am-5pm and  Saturday 6 April 11am-3pm at the Midland Junction Arts Centre.

The Office of Multicultural Interests seeking mentors

OMI is looking for suitable mentors for their Leadership and Governence program 2019. This program aims to increase the participation of people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) backgrounds on boards within the not-for-profit, public and private sectors and targets people who have expressed interest in developing their governance experience.

Winterfest 2019 open for public art installations

Artist residency in rural WA
