The exhibition features a collection of portrait paintings, photographs and short stories honouring Wheatbelt Elders who were born in the Bush.
The Bush Babies exhibition was inspired by a photograph and portrait painting of Hazel Winmar, a Ballardong Elder affectionately known as Nana Purple.
The much loved Elder sadly passed away in 2014 and the exhibition continues as a tribute to her memory and to all the other much loved Elders who have left us.
