Community Arts Project Scheme - Country Arts WA
The Community Arts Project Scheme (CAPS) supports opportunities for regional communities to work with experienced artists in any art form.
This funding usually contributes to costs associated with employing an experienced artist, such as fee, travel and accommodation, and project materials and projects that offer opportunities for creative expression, skills development and broad community participation are encouraged.
CAPS has 4 categories:
- Community Celebrations
- Community Projects
- Communities on Show
- Cultivating Creative Practice
Applications are open to membership based community groups or not for profit organisations. Individuals and local government are not eligible to apply. Organisations or community groups (including regional arts and cultural groups), don’t need to be incorporated but must nominate an incorporated organisation with an ABN to administer the funds and auspice the project.
