Donate your music box for performance piece
Perth based choreographer Chrissie Parrott is calling on members of the community to donate their music boxes, with or without a ballerina, for her world premiere dance theatre work, The Garden.
To create The Garden Ms Parrott will collaborate with four of Perth’s most versatile performing artists; Jonathan Mustard, Julia Moody, Jacob Lehrer and Jo Pollitt.
Set to a soundscape of 100 music boxes, the work will explore new territory in the collision between sound, dance, technology, text and visual media.
Chrissie Parrott has a reputation for creating work which involves collaboration, and The Garden is no different.
Donate in person to Performing Lines WA Level 1 King St Arts Centre, 365 Murray St, Perth (Monday – Friday 9-5pm office hours only).
