Urban Art Project-Karrakatta

As part of the Youth Development Program in the City of Nedlands, young people living in the metro area are invited to apply to work with experienced urban artists for two weeks in January. The project will consist of a two day concept workshop followed by two weeks painting the new Karrakatta underpass.

The workshops will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of January. Painting of the underpass will then be conducted in small groups, with each group spending two days painting. You will not be required for the full two weeks.

This project is aimed at people aged 14 to 19 living through out the metro area. For more information contact Community Development on 9273 3500 or email sorre@nedlands.wa.gov.au. The closing date for applications is Friday the 5th of December.
