CAN has attracted some very talented and committed artists over the years, but now we can say we have a WA Living Treasure on the team!

Congratulations to Chrissie Parrott who is one of 15 incredible Western Australians joining the exclusive club. The State Government only hands out these honours every ten years.

The Living Treasure awards are bestowed upon influential people whose dedication to their craft has made a significant contribution to the state.

Chrissie Parrott is known as a prolific, highly awarded Choreographer, Director and Arts Manager.

Her contribution to contemporary dance has been acknowledged with a Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award, Swan Gold Award, Sounds Australia Award, 2000 WA Citizen of the Year and a Centenary Medal to name a few.

Chrissie recently joined the CAN team as a part time project manager, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role. CAN is simply delighted to have her on board and we are very proud of her latest accolade.
