With the help of students on school holidays, CAN WA Kellerberrin and Nathan Heal from the Wheatbelt Aboriginal Resource Management Inc. planted over 1000 trees at Badjaling Reserve.
Badjaling reserve (located 178km east of Perth) was chosen as one of the priority areas for revegetation in 2009. A drain issue postponed the planting until 16 July 2010 - volunteers in the form of students on holidays got stuck in as a team to plant the trees, and enjoyed a lunch at the Kellerberrin Hotel afterwards.
