In 2002 Stephen was appointed National Director of Finance at St John of God Pathology, a division St John of God Health Care, the largest Catholic Health Care provider in Australia.
Stephen has had a diverse career experience from small cottage industry clients to roles in large multi-nationals. He brings with him experience across a number of industries as well as exposure to national and international experiences. His previous roles in Australia include employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers, with a land developer in taxation consultancy and financial accounting.
After working in general practice in New Zealand, Stephen moved to the United Kingdom and undertook cost management and financial accounting roles with National Power and Glaxo Pharmaceuticals (now GlaxoSmithKline).
Whilst living in England he used to opportunity to travel through the United States, Europe and North Africa. Stephen was also lucky enough to visit Romania soon after the fall of the former dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. It is these diverse experiences that have encouraged Stephen to pursue an active involvement in the community.
Stephen is currently Treasurer for the Rockingham Districts Little Athletics Association and former Treasurer for the Safety Bay Football Club.
