CAN’s creative networking event partners, Mundaring Arts Centre and Madjitil Moorna Choir, both have some exciting new projects to share.

HABITS OF HORSES invites the community to celebrate and explore our relationship with horses, learn new art skills from senior artists and artisans, undertake new experiences, express creativity and get up close and personal with these beautiful animals that have been such an important part of our history.

This Sunday 20 August, Habits of Horses will host an Open Day at Mundaring Sculpture Park. There’ll be an exhibition, live music, displays, and food vans… There will even be real live horses!

For the past ten years, the wonderful Madjitil Moorna Choir has been promoting Noongar culture and reconciliation through songs and performance.

Now you can take some of their songs home and learn them yourself!

The Choir has recently released two new song books.

Aboriginal Songs for Schools and Communities and Halls Creek Rodeo Song book are both available for purchase online.

All proceeds go back to the Choir to help continue their work of sharing language and songs with communities across the state.
